Grey Cardstock Paper
Glue Stick

Directions to make Handprint Elephant Craft

Start by downloading the free printable Elephant Template. After Printing, use the Template pieces to cut the Head and Ears from Grey Paper. While the Tusk and the eyes can be the cutouts.

Trace your child’s hand on a piece of grey paper and cut it out.

Glue the handprint to the elephant’s head, with the fingers pointing down and the Thumb as the tail of the elephant.

Glue the elephant’s ears to the head.

Glue the tusk and the Eye to the trunk.

Use a black marker to add details, such as the mouth and eyelashes.

This craft is a great way to create a personalized gift for a loved one. If younger children are making this craft, you may want to pre-cut the elephant pieces for them.
