Instructions for making the Torn Paper Rainbow Craft
Begin by tearing the cardstock paper into small pieces, approximately 1 cm in size, for the torn paper craft. We recommend using cardstock paper for its thickness, which creates a lovely texture along the torn edges.
Tear paper of 6 colours for the rainbow – Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Violet. For this craft, we’ll need a variety of vibrant colours.
Download the Free Rainbow Template and print it on a thick sheet of paper. We suggest using 120GSM printing paper for this craft.
Let’s start with the Outer section of the rainbow. Apply glue to the Top Section of the rainbow template and begin sticking the torn red pieces one by the curve is completely covered. The smaller the torn paper, the denser and more attractive the torn paper will appear.
Once all the red sections are completely covered, repeat the process with the remaining colours of the rainbow. Apply glue to each section and stick the corresponding torn paper pieces.
After all sections are covered, allow the rainbow to dry for 5 minutes.
Then, carefully cut out the rainbow template along the edges.
