Directions to make the Q-Tip Daisy Craft
Begin by forming a small ball of playdough, roughly 2 cm in diameter, and place it onto the blue origami paper. Gently press it down to create a flat, circular base for your flower.
Now, let’s tackle those Q-tips. Opt for the paper ones; they’re much easier to cut. Trim the tips at the beginning of the cotton, aiming for buds roughly 1 to 1.5 centimetres in length.
Prepare enough Q-tips to assemble your flower, usually around 18 to 24 pieces for a medium-density bloom.
With your flat playdough circle ready, start inserting the Q-tip buds around the circumference, one by one.
Continue until the entire area is covered, leaving a small space at the bottom for the stem.
For an optional step, use a toothpick to add texture to the playdough, creating a more lifelike appearance.
Repeat the process to craft as many daisy flowers as your heart desires!
Complete your creation by adding some leaves and grass at the base, bringing your Daisy flower craft to life and easy to brighten your day or decorating a special space.
Our 6-year-old craft enthusiast found it particularly delightful, especially since it involves playdough.
