Directions to Make Firecracker Greeting Card Craft

At the end of the post, you will be able to download a Free Card Template, It simply has a Diwali text in 2 Styles which you can print and fold in Half to make a card. You can print on cardstock for better results.

If you do not have a printer, you can simply write the text on A4 paper before starting the craft.

Now, Paint the straws red. Let it dry for 5 to 10 minutes.

Place the Straw over a cutting mat and Cut them into small pieces around 3 cm in length. The Grid on the cutting mat will help you to measure and cut the straws.

Now paste the cut straw pieces over the card with little distance in between. Apply glue over the card and arrange them one bt one.

Use a Black pen to draw the thread-like connectors (The fuse)

Now stick the other half of the firecracker and your card is ready!

A simple and cute craft that kids would love to make and gift their loved ones. With the same template, kids can make many more Diwali cards. Here are a few ideas,

  • Diya with handprint
  • Lantern with Pipe cleaners
  • Handprint Mehandi Craft card
  • Potato-stamped Ladoos in a bowl Card

These are some ideas I had in mind and wanted to try but we didn’t. Hopefully, we will do it next year! So now are you ready to download the template?
