Instructions to make Crumpled Paper Earth Craft
Prepare the paper squares
Cut blue and green crepe or tissue paper into small squares, roughly 3×3 cm. You’ll need a good number of each color.
Crumple the squares
Ask your child to crumple each square into a small paper ball. This is a great way to strengthen fine motor skills while having fun.
Print the Earth template
Start by downloading and printing the free Earth template. Cut out the Earth, which will serve as your craft’s base.
Glue the green paper on the land
Apply glue over the land areas on the template and stick the green crumpled paper balls in place.
Let the kids fill the entire land mass section with green.
Fill the oceans with blue
Next, apply glue to the water areas and cover them with blue crumpled paper balls. Fill in all the spaces for a textured and colorful Earth!
Once the glue is dry, your crumpled paper Earth is ready to be displayed!
