How to Use the Apple Tree Count and Match Cards

Spread the Cards: Lay out all the number cards face up.

Let the Matching Begin: Ask your child to find the matching apple tree for each number on the basket. For example, if a number card shows the number “4,” they would need to find the card with 4 apples on the tree.

Count the Apples: As your child matches the cards, have them count the apples out loud. This helps reinforce counting skills and number recognition.

Beyond Matching:

Memory Match: Turn the cards face down and play a memory game! Take turns flipping over two cards at a time, trying to find matching pairs.
