Steel, plastic or wooden fork – Any fork will work, but we recommend a steel fork as it is eco-friendly and budget-friendly as it can be washed and reused multiple times.

Directions to make the Fork Painted Peacock Craft

Download the Free Peacock Template and print it on a Thick Paper.

Cut out the body and wings from the first page with precision, then set them aside.

Painting with a fork: Next, place a sheet of newspaper or a table protector underneath to safeguard your surface as we will be painting with a fork. Prepare green, yellow, and blue paint by pouring them onto a plastic plate for easy access.

Create the feather pattern: Dip the fork into the green paint and stamp around the peacock’s body outline to form its feathers. There’s no need to stamp inside the body—just focus on creating radial, outward impressions to mimic the peacock’s fan-like tail.

Assemble the peacock: Once the entire area is covered with green fork impressions, apply glue and carefully paste the body and wings in their correct positions.

Add blue dots: Take a round sponge brush dipped in blue paint and dab it randomly to create dots. If you don’t have a sponge Brush, a pom-pom works just as well.

Finger paint with yellow: Use your fingers to add small touches of yellow paint.

Final step: Once dry, cut out the peacock—your fork-painted masterpiece is complete!
