Learning the Planets’ Order

To help kids remember the order of the planets, you can introduce them to fun mnemonic devices. One that worked well for us is “M VEM J SUN,” which stands for Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

Another popular mnemonic is “My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Noodles.” Feel free to use one of these or get creative and come up with your own!
