Using the template, Cut out the pieces from preferred colour paper. Here, I have used scrapbooking paper for the Shirt and pants and Jute fabric for the Hat.

Next, Draw eyes and mouth on the piece cut out for the face. Consequently, draw buttons on the Shirt; you can also draw Pockets, colours, etc.

I have tied a thread to the hat. Instead of a Jute material hat, you can also make a paper hat and draw details using a black pen.

Additionally, to give a torn look to the dresses, we need to add some colourful patches here and there. I have used felt for the same, but you can use paper as well.

Next, let’s take two popsicle stick and Stick it in T shape on the Rear side of the shirt as in the image below.

Consequently, attach the pant as well. I used a hot glue gun to stick these on the popsicle sticks. But the kids can apply a generous amount of Paper glue to hold the paper.

The final step is to make some hair for the Scarecrow. Cut two small Rectangular Black or Beige paper and fringe the shorter edge. Add it over either side of the face and Attach the Hat over it. That is all you need to do to make a scarecrow craft!
