Santa’s Beard scissor skills cards – Preparation

This Free Printable pack contains three pages which you need to print and cut to make 11 individual cards.

To make it easy for your child to hold and cut, I recommend printing them on thick paper such as Cardstock. We usually use 225 GSM Cardstock paper for Scissor skill activities.

How to Use the Scissor Skills Cards?

Once the cards are ready, let the child pick their favourite card and give Santa’s beard a trim. Instruct the child to start cutting along the dotted lines from the bottom.

Encourage a THUMBS UP position while holding the scissors.

A few cards (Like the curves) are more complex than others. Feel free to skip them if your kids find it difficult. Finally, Kids can have fun by curling the beard with pencils and putting it on display.
