Christmas is near and we have these Santa’s beard scissor skills cards for kids to practice cutting. Let the kids Grab their scissors, trim Santa’s beard and have fun.
Kids love trimming and cutting activities and you can introduce as early as 1.5 years old to practice cutting playdough with Toddler safe scissors. Kids master this skill over time and can cut by moving the scissor forward across the paper.
So this printable is for kids who are ready to cut along lines.
How to use these Santa’s beard scissor skills cards?
This printable pack contains 3 pages which you need to print and cut to make 11 individual cards. To make it easy for your child to hold and cut, I recommend printing them on cardstock.
Once the cards are ready, let the child pick their favorite card and give Santa’s beard a trim. Give instructions to the child to start cutting along the dotted lines from the bottom.
Encourage a THUMBS UP position while holding the scissor.
A few cards (Like the curves) are more complex than others. Feel free to skip them if your kids find it difficult. Finally, Kids can have fun by curling the beard with pencils and put it for display.
