Directions to make Popsicle Stick Leprechaun
Step 1: Cut the Pieces Using the Template
Download and print the template. Use it to cut out a hat in green, a belt in black, and a buckle and buttons in yellow. Additionally, cut out a beard from orange paper.

You can also cut these pieces freehand, as they are simple shapes! However, using the template ensures uniformity, especially if you’re making multiple leprechauns.
Step 2: Create the Base
Lay four popsicle sticks side by side and secure them together with tape on the back. Flip it overโthis will be the base for your Leprechaun Craft.

Step 3: Paint the Body
Paint the lower section of the popsicle sticks green, leaving a blank space at the top for the face. The green section should cover less than two-thirds of the total length. Allow the paint to dry completely.
Step 4: Add the Hat, Belt, and Buckle
Stick the black belt and the yellow buckle over the Green Piece. Then, Glue the green leprechaun hat to the top of the popsicle stick base.

Similarly, glue the belt at the centre of the green section and attach the yellow buckle in the middle. Finally, add two yellow buttons below the buckle.
Step 5: Make the Beard
Take the orange beard piece and fringe the bottom edge by cutting small slits about 1 cm deep. Then, roll the fringed edge slightly upward to give it texture and dimension.

Stick the Orange Beard below the Hat.

Step 6: Add the Facial Features
Glue two googly eyes just below the hat and add a Smile with a Black pen.
Optionally, you can also add a small red pom-pom in the centre to create the leprechaunโs nose.
