Things You’ll Need
To make this spinner flower, you’ll need just a few basic supplies:

- Card stock Paper
- Scissors
- White glue or Glue stick
- Crayons, markers, or colored pencils (for B&W version)
- Black marker
- Split Pin or paper fastener or Brad
- Craft Knife and Cutting mat

Instructions to make the Mother’s Day Flower Spinner Craft
Step 1: Print the Craft
Print the Flower Spinner Template. You can choose the colour version or the black & white version if your child wants to colour it themselves.
Step 2: Fill In the Spinner
In each section of the spinner circle, help your child write words that describe their mom, like kind, funny, sweet, brave, loving, or magical. Kids can refer to the ideas page!
You can also use the pre-filled version included in the printable pack.
Step 3: Cut the parts
Cut out both the flower and the spinner circle.
Cut out the white triangular part of the flower. (Tip: Use a craft knife on a cutting board for clean results.)
Make a small cross-shaped cut at the centre of both the flower and the spinner.
If using the black & white version, this is a great time for kids to colour and decorate!
Step 4: Assemble the Spinner
Attach the spinner behind the flower using a brad through the centre. Make sure the cut-out window shows one word at a time and spins freely.
Step 5: Final touch
Glue the stem and leaf to the flower. Your flower spinner is ready to gift!
