Things you will need to make this Handprint Bear Craft

Bear Template (Download at the end of the post)
Different shades of Brown Cardstock Paper
Glue stick
Scissors
Black Fine marker pen

Directions to make Bear Handprint Craft

Start by downloading the Free Bear Craft Template at the end of this post and printing it out. Use the template to cut out the bear’s face and outer ears from dark brown paper.

For the inner ears and nose, use light brown paper.

For the eyes, you can use the cutouts from the template. Next, trace your child’s hand on dark brown paper and cut out the handprint.

Attach the inner ears to the outer ears, then glue them onto the face. Also, stick the eyes and nose in place. Your bear’s face is now ready!

Next, glue the bear’s face over the thumb of the handprint so that it fully covers it. The other four fingers will serve as the bear’s legs, making this the perfect handprint bear craft.

Use a fine marker to draw a black nose and a smiling mouth, and optionally, add some eyebrows.

And here are your adorable Handprint Bears!

For a variation, use black and light brown paper to make a brown bear or white and grey paper to create a polar bear!
