As we all know, Young kids love cutting activities and want to do it over and over again. This is a simple Activity that any kid who has mastered basic cutting motion will enjoy.

⚪Preparation time: 10 min (to make 3 dolls)

⚪Activity time: 15 to 20 minutes

⚪Cleaning time: almost no time

All you need to set this activity is 5 to 10 paper cups, a scissor, and a few coins.

The paper cup dolls are so adorable and easy to make. Watch the video to see how I made a few slits and turned it into a beautiful paper doll. I used sharpie permanent markers (affiliate) to draw the dress and face. You can also skip the dress part and just add face features and make the job much easier.

The paper cups are usually very thick and so toddler safe scissors will not work. My little one is using a craft scissor here. Here is a video of her cutting the paper parts and practicing her scissor skills.

Scissor skill activities strengthen the hand muscles and develop a lot of other skills. And also gives us some ‘me’ time while they have fun cutting!
