I was quite surprised to find a Peppa Pig book about Diwali! The Peppa family wears saris and kurtas, lighting diyas and enjoying fireworks.
I’d only recommend this book if your child is a big Peppa fan, as it doesn’t delve deeply into the traditions of Diwali. The food, for instance, doesn’t resemble a typical Diwali feast. However, it does reflect how many families abroad celebrate the festival today.
